Weekly classes

I offer a variety of art classes for children and teens, including afterschool, homeschool, and specialty programs. Some classes are grouped by age and skill level, while others are intentionally designed to welcome siblings and mixed ages — especially for homeschooling families who prefer to attend together.

Afterschool Art Classes

Creative, skill-building art classes designed for elementary and middle school students.

Our afterschool art classes meet weekly and run by semester. Students explore a variety of mediums such as drawing, painting, mixed media, and sculpture while building confidence, creativity, and foundational art skills in a supportive environment.

Classes are thoughtfully structured by age group and offered in small class sizes to allow for individual guidance. Each semester introduces new projects and techniques, so students can continue growing even if they’ve taken classes before.

Homeschool Art Classes

Our homeschool art classes are designed to welcome siblings and mixed-age learners in a warm, creative studio environment. These classes focus on hands-on artmaking, skill-building, and creative confidence, while allowing families the simplicity of enrolling children together.

Because homeschool communities often value shared learning experiences, classes include a broader age range and are taught with flexibility, encouragement, and thoughtful guidance so each student can work at their own level.

Watercolor Joy- Teen Class

at Sentinel Scholars

Watercolor Joy is a gentle, skill-building watercolor class for teens who want to grow their confidence while learning real watercolor techniques in a supportive, encouraging environment.

In this class, students explore watercolor through thoughtfully designed projects that balance technique, creativity, and joy in the process. Lessons often focus on color mixing, layering, brush control, and observation—while leaving plenty of room for personal expression.

This class is taught in person at Sentinel Scholars in Eagle Mountain and is open to teen students enrolled through their program.

✨ Perfect for teens who enjoy art, want to improve their skills, and appreciate a calm, encouraging classroom atmosphere.
